Become a "Trained" Keystone HELP Contractor - Register Today to Offer Your Customers Keystone HELP's Best Incentives
Pennsylvania’s new energy conservation and energy efficiency legislation will provide plenty of opportunities for home performance businesses and contractors. PA Home Performance 101 will provide a one-day introduction to home performance concepts and related programs / incentives for current and prospective Keystone HELP contractors and remodelers.
ATTENTION KEYSTONE HELP APPROVED CONTRACTORS: Unless you are BPI or RESNET certified this training is required for all Keystone HELP Approved Contractors who wish to attain the status of "Trained Contractor" and be able to perform work under the Keystone HELP Whole House Improvement Loan Program for Home Performance with ENERGY STAR.
By attending this session, participants will:
- Learn the “house as a system” approach to energy conservation and energy efficiency
- Understand the market forces affecting homeowners (consumer demand, utility rate caps, energy cost volatility, national security, climate change policy, etc.
- New Low Loan Rates and Rebates through Keystone HELP
- State Incentives (DEP, PHFA, AEPS, Act 129, etc.)
- PA Home Energy and HOME PERFORMANCE with ENERGY STAR
- Federal incentives
- How to integrate the “house as a system” approach into their business model
